This place wasn't on our list, let's just say it was fate, and we ended up in a tiny spot. We were starving, our eyes wide open. When I saw the eggplant moussaka on the counter, it captivated me. The slightly melted butter, the crispness of the minced meat, the eggplant practically begging to be eaten... We ordered a delicious rice pilaf with dried beans and tzatziki to go with the eggplant moussaka. The food was so delicious, and we ate so quickly, I even forgot to take a picture of the tzatziki! :) The owner of Özkanoğlu Kebab is from Kastamonu. And of course, the food is delicious when the owner is from Kastamonu! It's a small, charming kebab shop in Karaköy. Open until midnight. Because the place is small and has its regulars, it doesn't need advertising or promotion. It's a true tradesman's restaurant that prioritizes quality in a small shop. The owner is a second-generation owner, carrying on the legacy he inherited from his father, and doesn't plan to expand, so he's not very keen on social media. Of course, the quality of service would decrease if it got crowded. A true tradesman. I really liked it and enjoyed it very much. I would love to go back and try their roast again. The prices are very reasonable. Taste: 5, Quality/Price: 5/5

The workers are complete liars; they put things on the bill that we didn't order, and when we talked to them about it, they acted like they didn't understand. Plus, they wouldn't let us pay except in cash.
