If you want to try delicious food, cuddle some cute cats and enjoy nice atmosphere - this is the place to go. We felt very welcomed by the owner! Thanks again
I think this was the weirdest restaurant visit of my life. I love supporting small local places that love animals but I‘m not sure what’s going on here. The owner said she actually doesn’t want to open because she is sick but still wants to serve me, even though I offered to leave. She kept complaining about me, health, money, life and then brought a small portion of food while complaining about veganism (the food I ordered was vegan). The food looked good but by that time I felt so uncomfortable that I paid and left. I‘d suggest to still make guests feel welcome, the place has so much potential but this experience was negative for me.
The positive thing that made us visit this place was the fact that we are animal lovers and the cats and the dog were adorable. However we received out of the blue a lot of negative energy from the owner to the point that we have never felt so uncomfortable in my life in a restaurant before. We had just a stop for two coffees following a visit to the sightseeings and we stayed for around 1 hour. A group of people came after we did and one lady had allergy to cats so they left. The owner started vending slightly on us and obviously we didn’t know what to say. Then we asked if we could pay with card (similar to other reviews that we read in here ) and she said “it’s just 480 Turkish lyras so no!”. Well in another coffe place for 300 liras they accepted card payment . Wouldn’t recommend that place at all.
You have to be a little patience, but you will be rewarded: food is amazing (best baba ganoush of my life) and the atmosphere is very relaxing and charming.nMany vegan options are on the menu, I will definitely go back here next time I’m in Istanbul.
