This restaurant was one of my favorite during my trip to Istanbul. Unpretentious, authentic and delicious food. They serve all plates with some delicious and fresh bread, the meats are all grilled in house giving the food not only a wonderful smoky flavor but adds to the atmosphere of the place which is already dimmed lighted and romantic. The food is wonderfully cooked, meats are grilled to perfection making them golden on the outside and juicy on the inside.nnI found reviews hard to trust in Istanbul as usually you are asked to place a Google Review almost on the spot which I believe explains the high amount of 4+ stars restaurants in the city, but at Kapi we were never asked or pressure to do so which is why I wanted to make a genuine review of our experience here and recommend the place to anyone living or visiting the city.
