Warmly furnished rooms in a laid-back hotel featuring free breakfast, a restaurant & city views.
In proportion to the 2 nights for 2 people and 130€ it is considered fine. Quite a simple room, just enough to sleep and get ready for your walk. Relatively small and at least our room without a view, just two small windows. The receptionist was very friendly, informative and cheerful. At some point in the evening while we had music they made a remark about the noise. Unnecessary on a Friday night...
I was here in Istanbul and I found this restaurant to be very welcoming, the waiters were very kind to me, the food was excellent, the prices were right, I ate wonderfully, I will return. ❤️❤️❤️
My first, spontaneous trip to Istanbul took place in December 2025. Initially, I had nine hotels on my shortlist for Istanbul on the Ostrovok website, then two. Ultimately, I chose the Spectra Hotel as my favorite.nThe hotel's location is fantastic. Nearby are the Blue Mosque (we always admired it during breakfast), the Hagia Sophia, and many other attractions.nThe hotel itself is small but very cozy. The reception and restaurant are located on the ground floor. You can access your room by stairs or an elevator. We had room 202, a deluxe room with a view of the Blue Mosque. The room had everything you need: two beds, two nightstands, a chair, an armchair, a wardrobe with a free safe, a desk, a kettle with tea/coffee/sugar/cream, and a TV. The bathroom is very small, but with new fixtures. Shampoo, shower gel, and soap were provided. Towels were changed daily. They also replenished our water and other supplies.nThe WiFi worked perfectly everywhere.nThe hotel staff was polite and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious, and we had everything we needed.nI recommend the Spectra Hotel for your stay in Istanbul.
